Computing

Year 2 have used Scratch programming language to design backdrops and rocket sprites. They then  programmed  the rocket to move between planets.
We have been tinkering with a programming language called Scratch. We were given a blank project with a single sprite and experimented with different  scripts to see what they can do. 
In computing this term  we are being astronauts, guiding ourselves and then robots to planets, picking up stranded astronauts along the way. Later we will use Scratch to write algorithms to guide a rocket across the solar system.
