Year 3 Trip to Great North Museum

18th January 2016
On the 18th January Year 3 had a brilliant trip to the Great North Museum to learn about Ancient Greece. They saw a massive spider crab, a big, fierce shark, a giant dinosaur skeleton and a mummified body! When they got there they were split up into groups.  They looked at fish, ancient vases, other animals like elephants and badgers and they held a giant Roman shield which was really heavy. They had their packed lunch there in a little room in the museum. They thought the dinosaur skeleton was the best bit. I did too! They all loved it.
